Cofanet offers direct online access to Coface's comprehensive underwriting systems and allows credit limits to be managed in the most time-efficient way. With Cofanet, you can:


  • Apply for credit limits on new customers
  • Monitor current limits
  • Make modifications to, and cancellations of, existing limits on customers
  • Customise a portfolio of limits by country, company, date or status to create effective management reports
  • Obtain a real-time snapshot of the distribution of credit risk in your portfolio according to the existing credit limits of each trading partner
  • View the historical movement of a specific limit over the last two years
  • Send messages directly to our underwriting department
  • Access information regarding Coface products, particularly the @rating facility

@rating


Cofanet uses our global @rating facility. An @rating is an alternative way of expressing a traditional credit limit, with each @rating classification corresponding to a fixed value. Once an @rating is granted you have immediate cover under your credit insurance policy.


Where an @rating is given with a Quality Label, the cover is 100% up to the value of the @rating. You have the flexibility to trade up to the fixed limit value without having to request successive limits as your business with your customer increases. However, you can still apply for a credit limit if you find that a given @rating value is not sufficient to meet your requirements, or is not shown.


Access to Cofanet


You will need a valid user identification and password to access Cofanet. There are also minimum technical specifications for equipment that need to be met before Cofanet will operate.
